what a blessing…
to be able to watch kiddos memorize scripture! we had a memory verse test yesterday and i must say that i am immensely proud of all the little ones that dency teaches.. we’ve ploughed through the first chaper of the book of James and they were tested on most of it yesterday..
i watched intently as they rattled off verse after verse.. both the older and the younger kids.. all had different ability.. but most managed to do at least a couple if not a major chunk of chapter 1..
it was a great blessing.. it really was… i don’t know how else to explain it.. i pray that as they memorize that they might say together with the Psalmist..
“I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.” Psalm 119:11

Running & Why I Do It..
i do not like running. 
that said, i understand the need to stay in shape because the demands on the ministry requires that a minister stay in shape.. 
thus i run.. to serve God better.. to be healthy for my family.. to be able to enjoy them without having them worry for me..
haven’t touched my camera in a while.. so i decided to take a shot of my running “mates”..
a great Lord’s Day.. lessons from 2 Kings 5.. lunch/shopping with friends.. dinner with family.. a busy week ahead.. and i look forward to it!!
