Life

God Is Indeed Good.. More than I Deserve..

it was one of those weeks where I’ve been a lil more contemplative about what I’ve been doing for the past 9ish months.. being in full time ministry has definitely been rewarding but sometimes I feel like I might be getting lost in the flood of stuff that is always knocking on my door..

It was CNY festivities for the first half of the week.. Had a scheduled youth meeting on Sat and was gonna preach on Sun for the main service.. Suddenly everything seem to be piling up for no apparent reason and I thank God for His mercy, grace, and goodness.. He was the one who sustained me through this week. How do I know this? I really don’t think I could have survived on my own!

Am I still thinking stuff? Yes. Is there still much to be done? Yes. But I thank God for constantly assuring me that He is sufficient even when I feel severely deficient.

But God is always good!

28 But as for me, it is good to be near God.
I have made the Sovereign LORD my refuge;
I will tell of all your deeds.

Psalm 73:28

Children's Ministry, Ministry

what a blessing…

to be able to watch kiddos memorize scripture! we had a memory verse test yesterday and i must say that i am immensely proud of all the little ones that dency teaches.. we’ve ploughed through the first chaper of the book of James and they were tested on most of it yesterday..

i watched intently as they rattled off verse after verse.. both the older and the younger kids.. all had different ability.. but most managed to do at least a couple if not a major chunk of chapter 1..

it was a great blessing.. it really was… i don’t know how else to explain it.. i pray that as they memorize that they might say together with the Psalmist..

“I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.” Psalm 119:11
